Hey everyone,
Do you think a filter should be added regarding your status attached/single? I feel there should be a box to tick informing others you if you are against attached people contacting you. I would save offending either party. What do you think? |

No. Would be totally pointless.
Not difficult to ask/tell someone when you message. Those who wouldn’t be truthful in a message are unlikely to tick the attached button either.

It would limit genuine attached people approaching members who are not into that kink. Some of the replies are rude and judgemental, something I thought fab and it's members would be against. |

I recently had a couple who said they were fb but all pics were of fem. They then decided they didn’t want my fb to come along so just ffm. Moved to Kik and the fem didn’t join us Kik and the guy said he just wanted a 1-1 meet with me. When challenged about why he hadn’t just approached as a single guy then he admitted he was married. This is a no for me. When I told him no his response was ‘I should have just lied so you’d meet me ‘ I think having a box to tick to say no to attached would just encourage them to lie about it. |

It would never work ... how many on here do you see with false pictures, false verifications.. and you expect an honest answer on whether they are married or not..

"I'm honest about being attached, it saves a lot of time-wasting"
I don’t blame people who aren’t though, on their profile, judging by the amount of unnecessary abuse some of the married men get thrown at them. I feel, as I’ve always said on here, as long as people are honest when private messaging and perhaps potentially meeting then that’s good enough. It’s nobody else’s business on fab. I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary to have it on a profile unless you choose to. Just be honest privately. |

I've never had any of that abuse, perhaps I've been lucky. Something to think about though |

Some would tell the truth but particularly among males they would be lost among the ones who claim to be single yet have a girlfriend/wife/partner and family they're not letting on about.
Just how it is as the dishonest ones will always be dishonest.

I have it on my profile in capital letters 'cheats need not message' and still get married men messaging.
I don't think a filter would make much different. |

Another good reason to read the profile |

That will just make them lie. Better to say you are open to meeting married men as long as they are honest. Then they are more likely to admit it and you don't have to meet them. |
