My neighbor surprised me with a Vegan choc Easter Egg. Got me thinking if any of you will be buying Easter eggs.

I have such happy memories of Easter as a kid - chocolate was a treat and I used to get so many Easter eggs - it was always a good day

There aren't any children in my family now - so I might buy myself one

On a mooch

Not a huge fan of chocolate and nor is my lad, we are still eating Christmas choccies

As a kid I was given a small gift instead, like a book or pencils, I’ve continued that. Between us we’ll have a bag of mini creme eggs and squashes Easter chicks

I've eaten a Turkish Delight Easter egg someone bought me and have loads put away for my grandchildren.

Even the 18 and overs in my family get an egg from me.

I’ve already eaten 2 Cream Eggs and 3 medium sized Mini-eggs so far.

Morrison’s put them on offer - I’ll keep buying them.

La la land

As a kid my family always got us a bar of chocolate (you get more chocolate) and for years it was Enid Blyton books from my grandparents. My uncle would get me a WHSmiths voucher (bought my first fountain pen with it). Was draughts another year and it's what my boys play on now.

I do normally do an Easter egg hunt (bags of harribo) for the boys and my niece's and nephews. And have like a mini sports day in the garden.

Last year the Easter Eggs were ridiculously cheap due to people not shopping in the first lockdown. I couldn't resist and bought my children far too many.

Lidl have some really fancy looking ones this year.

Yes, I do a hamper for my younger siblings and get some nice easter eggs, biscuits etc.

My mum would always be excessive when it came to Easter - egg hunts, blowing and then decorating eggs and hanging them around them the house, lots of daffodils and also chocolate cornflake cakes with mini eggs on top. Those little traditions are important to me now.

We enjoyed chocolate bunnies as kids. My grandma would lay mini eggs around around garden and sent us off on a search. Oh the excitement. I do the same for my children. Eggs are so huge BTW. They never get eaten whole and I end up transforming them into chocolate glaze for some cake eventually or throwing bits into hot chocolate to make it richer.

Oh god yes! Egg shaped chocolate is much better than chocolate in a bar.

I don't buy them for anyone else though.
