The decorating bug.:why when you do one room do you feel the need to do.more...bedroms all done a proper ladies boudoir now:so lounge and stairs and landing...seen the paper just need to prep and operation living room underway  |

Well to be honest, its my last shift in the pub for a Saturday tomorrow so have next weekend free and my daughter suggested stripping the lounge so I am with you there as contemplating starting now   |

When focus closed i couldnt resist stocking up on paint.. had no plans to decorate my daughters bedroom but soon as i got home i started right away.. closely followed by re vamping my bathroom |

I hate decorating with a passion. Cannot stand the thought of stripping a room down, all the prep work, then painting (*YAWN*)..
Would much rather pay someone to do it who'll do it a lot quicker than me. |

The layering effect....nooo got to strip and give a vigourous rub down for desired effect "
my walls are just painted so all i did was sugar soaped them..
my grandad wanted me to put up lining paper though.. i dont have the patience for that kinda faffing around lol |

"I love it and can stand back and say...i did that...No One touches my paint brush.... "
yeah love the satisfaction of a job well done.. Masked all the wall edges and was on my knees with an artists brush painting some pipework. stuff i hated at the time but look at it a year on and still feel great about it |
