So many times I speak with people on here they mention the amount of dick pics that are sent through to them without having requested any.
I have myself received many and I would be very surprised if anyone on here hadn't
So here's my idea for ffab to take forward. Build in a system where you can't attach a photo to a message until the person you sedn it too has replied to you. It would cut out the endless messages of dick pics.. Over to you fab |

But then you couldn't attach a face pic and since this wouldn't stop the amount sent to women, it would be even harder for the women to get rid of the ones they are not attracted to.
What to say the second messages wouldn't all be dic pics.
Would this stop abusive messages? |

I'm unlikely to reply if there isn't a pic ... many profiles have no pics whatsoever and enclose one in their initial message .
Make that I'll definitely not answer if I can't see any pics ... to pick my interest |

Fair point. Fab tag pics so they must be able to define which ones are being sent, build in that only those tagged with face can be sent initially?? Just putting it out there |

I'd like, like some other platforms have. That it blurs all dick pics and you can choose to view or not.
Been having a conversation with a few people the last week or so about unsolicited dick pics. How they are so common not on here but in daily life. So maybe we should call it cyber flashing, which sounds a lot less harmless. Because yeah I'm a grown woman. I ignore them or roll my eyes at them. But if I was sent them as a youngster followed by a I showed you mine now show me yours. I think I would have felt bullied into it. So why not as older and wiser adults take a stand and protect our youngsters? |

Simple system of photos grouped into categories would make it simple... you can attach a face picture from your gallery that has been marked by an admin as a face photo. Bit of effort of fabs part, but if enough people make a fuss? |

I'm not a tech guy so I wouldn't know how this would work but, if it where possible it would be a good idea.
Or if there was an option for people to tick if they didn't want dic pics sent to them. |

How about guys showing a little class and keep it off any message until such time it's asked for, if at all and its not on the profile.
Most women we know do read the profile if you've piques an interest, if you've a dick picture on the profile, let them see it there (one is enough )its a redundant image if you've put a dampener on chances of getting a reply by thrusting an image that cant be unseen into a message that's supposed to be the introduction. |

This is the heart of it really on here. The assumption that it's ok to shove your genitals effectively in someones face. I've said before I expect to see that when I'm navigating the main site. It's the nature of the site and I'd be a fucking idiot if I had a problem with it. That would be akin to me complaining I was seeing pictures of bread on a baking website.
Having those images sent directly to me in my "personal private space" aka my inbox is different.
On here and elsewhere, in fact all over the internet it's become "normal" to receive uninvited graphic photos of people you don't know. It needs to be changed. You couldn't do it in a bar, in the street, in an art gallery or anywhere else other than a club where you've consented to seeing other peoples danglies simply by entering the building, yet the way things are at the moment, dick pic senders seem to have convinced themselves other people have not only consented, but actively WANT to receive them just by having a phone or computer.
