I so am needing to invest in a new motorized friend for these such alone times.....

Ohh, I do know what you mean about sleep!!!
Currently watching t.v in hotel room, us men need visual stimuli 
Although I cannot recommend from usage, by the effect it seems the have the latest rampant rabbit (purple one?) seems to do the trick.
