When on fabs and general life, we all have to meet new people and figure them out.

Do you find that some people just have a persona about them, that makes you want to know more about them.

There are some I have taken an instant dislike to. Others have earned my loathing.

But there are many more that I would love to get to know better, some are interesting, articulate and intelligent. Some with a sense of humour that never ceases to make me laugh.

Others are downright sexy.

All entice me one way or another to come back to the forums and read their posts.

That's the reason I am here

It is amazing how you can really get on with people that you either take an instant dislike too or irritate you online.

Don't dismiss me yet

I do have an atraction to people and i dont mean a sexual attraction. Some people i am drawn too. Its people i find interesting, you would happily see me sitting in a corner talking to someone on my own if i found them interesting. Thats how i got with jay.

One of my friends ive known since i was 16 was a merchant seaman and the stories he could tell, hes slightly odd looking but i always wanted to sit next to him when a crowd of us where out

Yes.

On the other hand, I know I do not wish to spend more time with a person within knowing him/her for a very short time too.

Met a guy yesterday that I instantly knew would be interesting, I had one of the most entertaining and informative conversations ever.

He was a person I would never tire from talking to

Yes..... but what sparks that interest on here is often different to in real life.

We normally find that we react to the people we are with..if they are boring and dull..we are the same, watching P's and Q's and talking about mundane things...if they ar fun and lively then that rubs off on us..

Yes definitely...some people I am instantly drawn to and would love to spend time in their company.

But it often works the opposite way too.

I never do that with people, if I have to watch what I say then I am more likely to say the wrong thing

I'm gutted that my boss has moved on....he's one of the best blokes that I've ever met - from the first day we met we got on like a house on fire, we flirt outrageously with each other (to be fair I'm the same with most in the office tho', male and female)....I asked him to look over my application for a new job and he said that even in a formal written business situation you could see that I have a WYSIWYG personality and that he meant it as a big compliment.....so what you see on the forums when I post, is generally what you get if you meet me face to face......and now I've put everyone off ever meeting me, I'll delete my profile and re-invent myself

I am genuinely intrigued by people's life experience, what they have seen, felt, touched and what has happened to them. I am not interested in other people's wealth, their status symbols or status - it is those that really have had a life, are able to talk about it with modesty and even humour, are able to listen to others and show an interest in them - and yes, those I d like to meet. Often they turn out to be sexually agttractive but that is a by product
