Spooning is great! Being little spoon makes more sense as I'm 5'2". I do like being big spoon on occasion but it doesn't quite feel as natural, especially if my little spoon is very tall. |

True, I'm 4'11" but do love being the big spoon sometimes. Suppose it helps the Mr J isn't too tall  |

Little spoon is fantastic for sexy snuggles whilst wriggling my bum against the lap of a big spoon but it makes me too hot.
If I want to fall asleep and stay snuggled then I need to be big spoon and I remove the duvet from the back of me to keep me cool.

If we are falling asleep I will be little spoon, but if it’s post coital and we’re talking, then I snuggle into his chest, or lie on top of him instead. |

It’s generally me who’s the big spoon although our normal sleep position is C’s head on my chest, my balls in her hand.
When I spoon I’ve got a handful of boob.
So basically it’s the same default position whether we are awake or asleep
