I won a day shooting. It was good fun, but I was rubbish.

There are plenty of venues accross the country and don't think its that expensive.

Have a google for local shooting clubs, I'm sure they'll be best placed to help you.

I don't think it's all that expensive (for a trial, obviously!) as one of the guys in work does it.

I used to shoot a bit, I didn't have my own gun, just used a mates gun and we arranged charity shoots....have a look for local clubs and get in touch, they might let you go along to a shoot and let you have a go under supervision. If you get into it, as well as your gun you'll need a secure cabinet and a licence, no idea what they cost nowadays, I haven't shot now for a few years, though I wasn't too bad a shot

I do it and like the others have said if you want to just go and have try, then its not too expensive depending on how long for.

probably anywhere between £10 - £30

Great slo-mo pics on TV - you could actually see the shot as a hail of it hit the clays

Oh how spooky.....I am actually now doing chat pigeon shooting. Forgot I even posted this on my singles profile

It's great! Had a lesson today and got told I'm really improving but I still can't tell when I'm over or under the clay I do hit a fair few though.

Patiently waiting for west Mercia to process my shotgun license!

Anyone else into shooting?

Evie

I was up until last year, I held my licence for 10 years and used to shoot clays each weekend.

For your information readers, the op of this thread is possibly the canniest dance floor operator I’ve met in all my socials.
