If you want to be active on here, I think it's only right to pay. We expect too much for free, forgetting that it costs to run things. I paid for a silver membership for a few months at a time by PayPal I think and will renew when that's up. |

The only person that can decide if it's worth it OP is you - depends how much the additional features it offers are of use to you, and how much value you place on helping support the site.
Personally I think I've always been a site supporter, apart from maybe the odd couple of days where I've forgotten to renew, not necessarily because of the extra features, but to help support a site I use a fair bit - and at £5/month I don't consider it a huge expenditure to do that - but that's just my personal view and don't think better or worse of people for choosing to do the same or not. |

Not everyone can afford it.
Not everyone makes use of the extra features it gives you access to.
Tis perfectly reasonable not to upgrade IMO, I didn't for many years.

Over the Years i have used Text & phone call to renew.
Now the only way i do it as i find it works out cheaper and lasts longer is by debit card £12.50 for 130 days. I Renewed in feb and that will last untill the middle of July.
What ever way you chose its is worth having. |
