Central London Apartment Wanted
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hello fabbers,
Does anyone have/know of decent apartments in central London that aren’t too expensive?
I’m semi flexible on dates but will be there a week or so end May, start July and end Aug. Dates will be firmed up start April.
Not looking to flat share and would be ideal if I could also use the apartment for fab fun and not just work.

"Properly best looking on a Property rental site rather than here to be honest. "
Yeah. God knows what offers you’ll get here. Nudge nudge wink wink.
I’ve a spare room north of Glasgow btw. Rent free with benefits.
(Joke unless you are good at dusting) |

Yeah for a week in zone one for a one bed flat you are looking at a grand at the very least and that will probably be basic and not in the best location.

If it has to central central London then I’ve found the best value by far is around London Bridge / Shard / Borough Market type of area, just South of the river but right in the middle of things.
Still won’t be cheap. |

Thanks all, I’m use to London prices but was hoping to find something that isn’t going to cost me a few grand for the week
I made the mistake years ago of going super cheap or zones further out and regretted it immensely! |

Unfortunately you are very unlikely to find anything that isn't gonna cost at least a grand and probably a lot more in zone one.

When you say You regretted it where abouts to you stay?
There are some really nice areas further out that may be a little cheaper but with easy access to central London.

I did Illford, Bromley and a few others but given the short time I’ll be there I want to be central based so might just have to bite the bullet and pick a hotel room instead of an apartment (I like having a kitchen so I can cook)

Ohh I'm not surprised you didn't like Ilford!
There are loads of places like maybe Stratford or around there that are a bit nicer, possibly a bit cheaper and also really easy access to central London on the tube about 10 to 12 minutes depending on where you want to go.
A hotel might be a better option if you want to be very central. |
