Musing again.
This is a question for the guys on Fab.
In safe times when we are allowed to meet. Are verifications important to you?
Are webcam verifications important to you at present time?
If so, why are verifications important to you?
Ladies do you read guys verifications and the ones of the verifiers? Would this help decide if you wish to meet the guy when we are allowed to meet?

I find them rather cringey. They will always be good, who's going to publish a bad one for themselves. For every good meet there might be a bad one. So potentially they might be actually running at a 50% chance of being good when their profile shows them at 100% |

I read them because I'm nosy, let's be honest. It wouldn't help me decide to meet someone but if someone is verified by women who are all of an aesthetic very different to mine, I'd probably now be more hesitant to meet them in anything more than a friend setting.
That being said, if I'd done that with everyone I've met, I'd have not had some of the brilliant meets I've had. Let's go with being a bit more... hesitant.  |

Good way to know who to avoid as some vers aren’t legit or real
Not shour about other places
But I do know off some that offer fab vers for pp without meet over on aw
So I just avoid anyone who’s been verified by those people |

I think they are important, some people won't meet unless you've been verified, etc etc so it becomes a catch 22.
I think it depends on the person as to how much attention they pay to verifications etc
I think they are helpful for me as it shows I'm not cheating etc etc  |

I think as long as someone is verified that’s fine, if someone didn’t have verifications for the last year and a fair bit beyond it wouldn’t worry me.
If someone wanted to see mine I’d be willing to show them, clearly they’re a bit old now but my methods to find reliable and fun people has worked so far. |

Probably more important to us guys, even cam verifications help to confirm you are genuine and what kind of person you are as well as helping determine you are not fake. Getting folk to verify after a cam chat is not always easy though for some reason. I've had about 5 or 6 cam chats and only one verification. |

I always read them. Although I know no one will ever post a bad one, I think they tell you something about a person still. They also tell you who else he's slept with lol |

Yes I read the verifications check out the verifiers. It can tell you alot about someone by the type of people they meet. I was once so close to meeting someone until he was suddenly verified by a certain person that I had info about. Hence I never met him due to his new verification. |

If meeting folk from the forums, veris are irrelevant to me cos it'd never really amount to socials anyway
In terms of 'meet' meets, veris are relevant but, again, I'm usually able to pick up on who are meeters and who gets their kicks by talking |

I think tbey can be helpful but shouldn't be taken too seriously. I've received a fake verification myself. I reported it and it was removed but I didn't lose the green tick. I've also seen many new profiles in my local area receive similar sounding verifications from the same profile which is kind of suspicious. Especially when she seems to mention being full on wined and dined by these men. The woman must never use her kitchen . I've even heard rumours of some taking payment for verifications. |

. That’s why I can’t be arsed with my long profile now. They all want exactly what I want. Yeah ok 
I’ve just changed my profile to just show profile points of what I am looking for and about me. However I’m sure that will be too much for some men - but I’m not interested in them so they will be deleted. "

It is important to me as I use it to determine if the person is:
1. genuine and into meeting, webcam chatting, both or neither.
2. tv/ts friendly
Verification summary is what I want to see but if it is less than 3, I would prefer to see the verifications to trace the verifiers. If I read it, it's just for fun.
Those are some of the efforts I took to reduce the number of potential fake meets.
As for my own verifications, it's not that important anymore because I think I have (more than) enough to prove that I do meet and webcam chat occasionally. |

Same. But having said that I would prefer to meet a man who I know has safely met others especially other more "established" fabbers. I feel safer than I would meeting a guy with zero veris...

I changed mine a few months ago to reflect not meeting until after covid jabs - had loads of messages asking if I had them yet and that they wanted to be first in the queue |

I've only got one and that's through a webcam so I can't really comment. I wouldn't say it's as important but maybe it's my inexperience of this site speaking but it kind of reminds me of those reviews you read when buying electrical goods at argos  |

I don't do webcam meets so obviously that rules out cam veris.
I've had a couple of social meets where we didn't verify each other, one in Feb last year and one later in the year standing on the street with a fab couple who were in the area.
There are very few original veris but I struggle when writing them also so it's difficult to say something that hasn't already been said.
I'm happy for people to read mine although restrictions mean I can't show any of them currently.
As much as I'd like to say I don't pay any heed to veris that others have that's not actually the case.
I will admit to seeing a veri on someone's profile and that in itself has put me off chatting to them either because of what was said or simply because I don't like the profile of the person who wrote it.
Therefore verifications do influence my thinking but at the same time giving or receiving then from people I've met aren't a deal breaker. |

Aha. I don't understand how veris would show that though.
People often only do a veri the first time they meet. Not every time because that just seems weird to me.
So even if I only had 1 veri from someone it wouldn't mean I'd never met them again. |

It's easy to say don't be judgemental but if I see a profile that uses the term quality before quantity and yet they have 100+ veris but have only been on a year that tells it's own story and even more so if the majority of those have been during a pandemic |

I have never managed to get a meet due to lack of veris.
But can't get a veri without a meet so at this point they mean nothing to me

Verifications matter to me personally as they increase the likelihood of the person showing up. I care less about what they describe and more about the fact they exist at all. Of course, even with verifications one might still be stood up - I have been stood up without any notice (or apology afterwards) by someone whose profile and communication showed all signs of being OK.
One just never knows but I find that verifications give me some reassurance together with the other signs the person displays o being sane and safe. |

Im fine showing veris from socials and club meets.
I wont show veris from the ladies as dont want them to get harrased by others.
Webcam veris never had one, but if needed I will use one to proove its me.
Veris arnt important to me as I will enjoy just a meet without one,
for a coffee or tea
for a shopping trip
The veris only say im friendly and curteous to others who have met at a club or event.
Yes ive been a taxi for others but ive never asked for a veri off of them.

Seeing a fairly recent verification is nice to feel like the person you're speaking to isn't completely catfishing. We like to keep an updated cam verification, so anyone we message has another way of seeing we are real. But, it isn't necessary. We try to video chat, or even record a short vid of us dating Hi and the persons name (clothing optional) to assure we aren't catfishing. |

Same here, can sometimes put to rest the question about the profile being legit etc.
Although I don't like that anyone can leave one even if you haven't spoke to them, I got one last night from being in the chat rooms, didn't interact at all with them they just saw me on cam and left one.

Yes but if they have loads in quick succession it’s something that I would ask them about and following the audit trail can show if all those also only do one offs. Veris aren’t always truthful but it gives a starting point. |

I've never met anyone from FAB, due to joining sometime in the middle of a pandemic.
I was never wonderful at timing.
I've met a handful of people, not from FAB. (Several couples and a single lady.) from years ago and those I've arranged to meet, I've met. I've been let down by a single lady once and one couple twice. Again many years ago.
So, veris are not that important to me tbh.
Not tried the cam side of things tbh. But may, if I find the right person. |

I find them vomit inducing and never read verifications on profiles. According to Fab verifications, the whole site consists of men with magic cocks and women who give the best blow jobs ever ha.
As per my profile, make a decision based upon message content, profile material and even forum posts.

Verifications do matter to me but only in the broadest sense of if they have them or not.
I’ve said before and I still maintain that a verification is only meant to prove that the person is real and is who they say they are. Anything else is subjective opinion.
If anything, I hold more value from group social verifications as that shows a better idea for their motives and intents on here. It also helps if I know the people writing the verifications in those situations |
