Grew up listening to him, he was part of the reason I loved F1 so much.
Such a big personality, with so much passion and love for F1 that was passed on to so many.

Like many people, F1 to me was Murray. I think it's fair to say that if it wasn't for Murray's commentary F1 might never have grown into the world wide tv giant that it is now.
A sad sad day for everyone that is passionate about F1. RIP Murray.

Never liked Formula One.
Liked Murray Walker for his energy, knowledge and timing.
Modern day commentators and pundits could learn and improve so much by watching his broadcast |
