Sad news today.

I met him a few times. Our first encounter was at Linate airport after the 1990 Italian Grand Prix. He was standing next to me at a urinal, and James Hunt was urging him to hurry up. “Fucking hell, Murray. I want to get to the bar”, he urged.

In his haste, Murray shook his poss on my shoes and didn’t wash his hands.

Will forever be the voice of motor racing for me. A keen motorcyclist too.

"And unless I'm very much mistaken"!!!

What a bloke.
