Oh no... I just missed another birthday. This time my niece's. Not just missed it, but completely forgot about it and didn't even ring her!
I think it's because I'm not checking my calendar app at all at the moment, so I'm not seeing all the birthdays and reminders. Is anyone else finding this? Or am I just a terrible auntie? 
Have you forgotten anything important this year?? |

Oh no! These times have been so tough on everyone. I am sure you will make it up to her after restrictions have been lifted.
As for forgetting important dates, probably but nobody has reminded me  |

I’ve got a really good memory and never normally forget birthdays or other big dates but I’ve missed two in the last six months. Time has taken on a different character during lockdown.  |

I think these lockdowns really are affecting peoples concept of time.
I almost missed my own birthday last year.
It’s December 25th and luckily all the local shops had big posters up to remind me. Some of them even did adverts on the tv.

I have to admit, I haven't missed anything in ages but times are hard at the moment so people should understand if you forget a birthday etc. It's not so easy to buy nice cards and presents atm, so I think people will cut you some slack. |

I signed up to the Moonpig reminder thing. Which works!
I felt awful last year as my mate sent me a bunch of flowers with chocs for my birthday and I completely forgot hers until two days later.
