Today I spent almost a hour and a half on the phone to an amazing person - we discussed hemorrhoid cream, recurring photos, loneliness, the gendered food offerings for Mother's Day.... all the important topics.
I also got to discuss a sabre, albeit briefly.
It was a good day. |

"A labrador tucked under my armpit.
Awwww
I wish I had a pupper!
I cant think of anything better right now.
"
She wiffs of fox poo.
You can borrow her for the night! |

My youngest gave me a proper cuddle! He doesn't like physical contact and sort of leans against you for a few seconds to show affection normally.
I've found some hair dye that won't strip my scalp of skin.
American Gods is really good at the moment. |

You've I reminded me! I don't have a present for my mom yet...no idea what I'm going to get.
I'm cutting it a bit fine.

"Going to see my Ma this weekend, first time since November.
That is a long time! ...I bet your mom is so looking forward to it x"
Thanks Anabelle, it’s weather dependent so wish me luck for clear skies. |

Ah you can't beat an extra special cuddle of the little people...priceless x
Is your scalp that sensitive or you couldn't find the dyes?
I feel like a new woman almost, for a minute anyway, when my hairs been done. |

I'm alive, still smiling, made it to Friday unscathed, glass of wine in hand, roof over my head and have people in life who love me.
Feel lucky and grateful |

"I'm alive and healthy, should be grateful for that at least.
Apart from that, fuck all, last week or 2 has just fell off a cliff in terms of good stuff"
Yes...I get times just like that!
It is great to be mindful though of our blessings. |

I've got stupidly sensitive skin and has to stop dying my hair 4 years ago to avoid blistering and pain. I've finally found a product that I am ok with and I'm covering up my grey this weekend. I can look my age again! |

That's going feel so good, waving goodbye to those greys.
I have a quite a few. I think I'd be white haired without the blonde dye.
Good luck with it |

This evening I happened to read a feel-good story about a state school in East London called Brampton Manor which has received more offers of University places at Oxford and Cambridge than Eton College, the UKs top private school. The school is in a very deprived area but has outstanding academic results- what amazing teachers and students ! |

I didn't feel as grumpy today as slept a little better last night. I think my body is adjusting to the cancer treatment. I had a lovely chat with my mum and a friend and enjoyed a back massage in my chair and foot massage on my shiatsu electric thingy. I ate some strawberries & cream and chilled. |
