Just to set the scene.....

You've got 24 hours in with your favourite playmate. You have planned to have as much sex as possible in that 24 and make up for lost time in lockdown.

If you don't do this normally just pretend you do if it helps.

In that 24 you need to eat.

Come up with drinks, breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks that are quick, easy, nutritious and are going to keep your energy up.

No ready meals allowed, no takeaways, just assume whatever you need is already in the kitchen.

Wirral.

Well, I always have pizza in the freezer.

And chocolate.

And biscuits. And if they're Jaffa cakes there's fruit in them - all food groups covered

I quite like some form of grazing board - charcuterie, oozy cheeses, olives, veggies, breads and dipping oils. Doesn't take much time to prepare, can be huge fun to share, nothing too heavy that's going to make you more sleepy than randy.

Breakfast I'd probably strike out on since I don't really do breakfast, but maybe some pastries and fruit as brunch could work, or an omelette for a bit of protein.

Plenty of snacks, maybe some cream cakes, strawberries with dips, anything that's fun to feed each other.

.

A grazing board is definitely a good shout - I'd probably do an assorted berries and various other fruits one with some homemade brownies. Some smoothies, water, crushed ice and milk for any caffeine requirements.

Savoury wise I wouldn't do too much if the main plan is cocking (for the aforementioned bloating reasons). A few cheeses, some salad bits.

Maybe tapas? That could work and could be quite fun to cook together. Or a fondue with decent bread, some nice meat, crudites etc.

I need to start thinking about this sort of thing so I'm doing a mental list of good ideas.

Sooooo ....

I’d opt for an in-bed picnic between sessions while we were regrouping. Something like toasted ciabatta, hummus, some falafel, maybe sweet potato variety, chopped veg to dip (and possibly another dip), some baby buffalo mozzarella pearls and some stuffed cherry peppers. Some posh crisps cooked in olive oil too (my favourite). Very tapas like. Fruit, maybe strawberries and melon, to finish. Ice cream optional. Too much to eat all of it, but nice to pick at.

Come the morning, coffee/tea in bed with a naughty cookie. Then after playing some more, when it comes to breakfast/brunch, it has to be creamy scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with hash browns and halloumi. Alternatively, grilled asparagus and spinach on focaccia topped with a poached egg and decorated with some small slices of goats cheese.

Menu available upon request

(and yes, I’m a feeder! )

I’ve just bought a new blender, so I’d do liquid toast.
