It's a car thing, not a boob thing
My Toyota MR2 had its MOT. The mechanic gave me the 'end of life' chat beforehand, but she passed with flying colours! I've probably got at least 2 summers left with her, but, in order to fully enjoy her I need a new vinyl roof. The original that's on has lost a lot of flexibility and I'm reluctant to drop it except on the hottest days. It's such a waste of a glorious car!
But I work full time, am pretty clueless about what represents good value etc and I wondered if there was a car nut on here that might be prepared to help me find a good deal. Thanks in advance!

I can't help but I just wanted to join in with the top down club. I've got a Peugeot 207cc which is a hard top. I love it!
A few months ago the window regulator went on it and my dad said he would fix it while I borrowed his car but he hasn't yet lol
Finally got a guy from work to look at it today so hopefully I'll having the system up with the top down, got the City on lockdown soon |

Lol! Best bit of top down is hearing blokes on motorbikes comment how nice your car is.
Worst bit is when pedestrians think you're talking to them when you start ranting at a politician on the radio |

Only once had a convertible which I loved but had to park it on the street and hood was damaged too many times
Even if you have to pay a reasonable amount for a new roof and the car only does a couple more years, you should be able to resell the roof when the time comes ? |

Mine's parked on the street! I guess petty vandals now appreciate modern classics Worst I've had was a kebab smeared over the boot grill - and I don't think that was targeted! Luckily the day stayed misty so it never fully dried on before I got the chance to hit it with a jet wash!
It's cos it's parked outside all year that the roof is perishing! Help me find a roof for my car! |
