Todger Thursday

I'm reading a book at the moment in which the main protagonist is called Todger Thursday.

It's not quite as odd as Milo Mindbender from Catch-22 or Lord Lancaster Stiltstalking but very strange nonetheless.

What weird and wonderful names have you come across in works of fiction?

There used to be a character in the Beezer comic when I was a kiddy called ‘Saucy Sue’ .. which is a little unfortunate.

.

What book are you reading currently Op?

I did expect the thread to be as anticlimactic as the title suggested, you didn't let us down.

I'm adding Moist Von Lipwig.

"Mustapha Mond! Perfect name and one I can't believe I'd forgotten about until now."

What a character he was - seriously Machiavellian in nature.

Do you remember Mons Pubis from The Day The Lady Sang? She was trouble with a capital T.

East London

Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler was one of my Pratchett favourites, along with Rob Anybody.
