I don’t know why, but I like that word. It just has a ring to it.
Yet it’s actual history is boring compared to other well coined words of today.
It apparently meant untidy woman or kitchen maid originally and later came to mean what it does today?
What words are you a fan of and is it’s history interesting?

Insuperable. Blah history, from the Latin superare, but it's a lovely word that isn't used often enough.
Hither, thither and whither are all great words to say, all from old English but again not particularly interesting etymology. I do love the medieval way of joining words together, so you end up with things like whithersoever. I can't see how I'd ever use it, but it's a great word. |

I love the word bonfire, and I’ve just looked up the origin of the word, and it originates from bone/bane fire, when they used to burn bones (15th century) |

"Just sexually related words, or any words? "
Any words you like. I like loads more words, just thought we are on a swingers website after all. May as well use the sex related ones. |

Albeit an unconventional term of endearment, I refer to my wife, (as she does herself), as my slut.
The illicit connotation is attractive to us both, although curiously it is a female reference by definition. |
