It makes me laugh when a lady puts an update on their profile saying "if you don't read my profile I wont read your message".
Surely they would of had to read the message to realise they hadn't read the profile.
What profile updates wick you off? |

My favourites are “think am gonna give up on this and delete my profile” - as if that’s going to suddenly generate an avalanche of interest begging them to stay!
And the “nightmare day at work today” ones - nobody is on here to read or care about how work has gone!  |

You don't need to read the full message to see if your profile has been read or not.
My profile asks specifically not to call me babe. I get tons titled "hey babe" so I can tell just from the message title they've not read it.
I've had loads asking me where in Tooting am I? Just a few lines into my profile text I explain I don't live anywhere near Tooting, it's just the song that my bumhole sings. So again, I don't need to open the message to know they've not read my profile, I can see the first few words.

Then they should maybe do what I do in that situation and open up a second tab, so you can be writing a message in one screen and have the profile text on the one next to it. I'm not techy at all so if they can't work that out for themselves then we're on way different intelligence levels anyway. |

"Kik?" Usually just from something like that as a title of someone's incoming message immediately let's me know they've not read my profile. However mine is a long read so depending on the profile pic of the message there may be an exception for a response.
Anyway we can write whatever we like on our status within the rules, why let it bother you |

Surely this applies when a keyword is put near the end of a profile to ensure the whole profile is read ie it says something like "put London Bridge" in your message title. That way they can delete without reading any message that does follow those instructions. |
