‘Allo ‘Allo on rewatch is a comedy classic.

I had no idea at the time I first watched it in the 80’s what comedy genius it actually was.

Ive been catching up with Rhoda an American sitcom that I remember from my 1970's childhood. Its laugh out loud Jewish comedy at its best.

One Foot in the Grave is on Britbox, apart from three or four Christmas specials. Some of that is hilarious.

You shouldn't miss Yes, Minister or Blackadder.

One of my favourites was Coupling. Luke

My absolute goto is "It ain't half hot mum"

Absolutely genius.

The late Windsor Davies casting as battery SgtMjr Williams was legendary.

Laugh out loud comedy at its best.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Nightingales - it's on Youtube, is seriously surreal and utterly brilliant in a bonkers way.

The Phil Silver's Show - very fast paced and well written, again on Youtube.

Early Doors - pub life in Manchester. Nothing ever really happens, but life is perfect whilst it is on (see also Detectorists).

Early episodes of Last of the Summer Wine - gentle humour, but there is a lot of joy in the writing.
