What makes you happy?

Raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, bathing in the blood of the vanquished whilst their women flee before you or maybe it’s Turf Moor, whatever gets you to sleep...

What’s your poison?

Delightful Bliss

The beach is my happy place, mindfulness, meditation and yoga all mixed together

I do have a secret escape place though when things are overwhelming and I feel the need to walk away from everything

Like the above poster, there is something about the sea that realigns me

Definitely being by the sea. It calms me when I'm feeling anxious and helps me focus. It brings me a sense of peace.

Is it the cupboard under the stairs? If it’s good enough for Harry Potter...

I always used to enjoy that. I stopped listening to music after a while though, much as I enjoy it, the batteries on the blue tooth ear pieces aren’t long enough and it’s more frustrating to have the music die midway through

Home makes me happy.

Getting home and shutting the world out in my safe space

The mountains is my solace...I go there with my head full, then I see how small and insignificant we are and suddenly my problems don’t seem so big...

Being at one with nature cleanses the soul...

Nature. Spring awakening in the local woods. Birds chirping their little hearts out and green shoots everywhere... bluebells and crocuses like coloured signals of hope and life returning. Sunrays poking through branches and making me squint ..

And my best friend enjoying all above with me this morning. Happy indeed. And recharged
