So, I had a jewelled one which I loved, but when I was being fucked with it in, nearly lost once! 
The circumference of the plug was fine, but the head needed to be a bit bigger...
Anyway, I want to invest again, so bearing in mind what I have said, does anyone (being inclusive here) have any suggestions or recommendations please??  |

We almost lost a silicone jewel one, the jewel bit popped out of the plug ! We stick to metal or glass ones and have a hush vibrating one for edging. |

A quick spray of anti-tangle and a brush is mostly all that's required!
After a few wears, a rinse out in the sink with a bit of soap does the trick.

We have quite a few of the ones mentioned so hope this helps:
Jewelled plugs - Look great but as already been said, they need to have a large round base if going to be used during rough sex. BTW make sure you know what you are buying and they are solid metal and not just plated. The plated ones have been known to flake and you don't want it doing that when in place.
Fox Tail - Look great and you can always lift the tail up but be careful when sitting down, you do not want to kneel on your tail and then stand up quickly, that hurts ALOT
Bunny Tail - Look so cute but if worn under clothing they do show and can look quite strange.
Inflatable - Great fun, inflate slowly and don't be too energetic until you are used to them. The can go deep so make sure you are clean first. |

Watching this one with interest.
I have a metal jewelled plug, but always quite paranoid I’m going to lose it.... I’d love to have that confidence and use it more - I think they do look lovely .. I do have a couple of t-bar plugs and used those with far more confidence.. they are going nowhere - lol

I much prefer the bar type ones rather than the round jewelled type.
So much more comfortable to wear for extended periods and due to the bar being longer as well I've never had a moment where it could get sucked in.
The only thing I wish you could get were ones with a thicker neck.as plugs are either too thin to help train your butt or so think its uncomfortable. |

Yeh, alit have tails on them which arent big enough.
I nearly lost one too!
I use to work in a role along time back which worked closely with A&E, the nurses use to tell of some amusing tales. Probably not amusing to the person concerned.
I chucked all the ones I had away.
I had contemplated a couple of new types tho.
Most of the classics one the tails aren't wide enough and are accidents waiting to happen.
I wouldn't suggest tying string on to pull back out either as theres potentially to pull out half the lower colon or rupture it.
Play with em if you must but beware it could end in an embarrassing trip to A&E.
Not ideal right now.

I'm so glad this hasn't just happened to me, I was convinced a trip to A&E was on the cards...
I read somewhere you need more lube, but after that experience I will not be using they one again. Sounds wrong but more lube would just have made matters more worse. So embarrassed.

We have a glass one that is quite short fat, a silicone vibrating one that is longer and thinner and 2 metal ones, one with ring on the end.
Fox tail plugs are fun, especially if you get a decent one as it feels nice on your legs.
It took me a while to figure out the differences in size and material and how they affect your comfort level.
I used to assume it was a one size fits all thing. |

I wear a pink glass one that has a thick rim. I have never had any problems with it going inside. I believe you can get stainless steel ones in different sizes too. |

Temperature is one of the main things, even if you don't purposefully heat or chill it will be a tad cold to start with. I also find them a bit more rigid so I can feel the groves more than on a rigid one if that makes sense? |

Butt plug safety... the flange of the plug should in principle be wider than the plug body and the stem should be much narrower.
It allows the sphincter muscles to hold the plug in place.
A strong strudy flange is also recommended
Soft silicon butt plug can bend out of shape and with lube, slip away into the depths.
For added safety you can add a doubled ribbon or cord to the stem as a safety line incase of loss. 12-15cms gives you a fighting chance to catch it before you end up in a&e.
If wearing for long periods or jnder clothes. Use the ribbon/cord as a securing point. Tie around the gusset of underwear or perhaps a belt loop on jeans.

Addition.
If you do loose a plug. Don't panic...
Breath deeply squat like you are doing a large poo. Let gravity do the work.
It will help if you add extra lube so have some to hand...
Don't force it out!!!
Use a finger or two to orientated the plug and ease it out slowly...
Last resort is a&e...

It’s my first so can’t really compare to any others.
I do love how the fur feels on my skin.
