Was panic stations yesterday making sure everything still fit, last minute run to get uniform as my two decided to sleep on fertiliser over lockdown and grew two inches. Was all good til I bust my hand open on a glass and had to wake them up to go to family as I had to go to a&e |

"I've got no kids, but shouldn't you teach them to polish their own shoes
God no !"
Ma Mam passed away when I was 6, I spent 10 years at Boarding School and knew how to spit & polish boots before I was 8 |

Complete opposite for us, had a key worker position since lockdown.
Now having to home school as last Friday a kid in the year bubble tested positive.10 days isolation, and unpaid leave from work for care.
Not even sure if that age group is going back at all this week, due to shortage of teachers through them having to isolate.
Not sure where the kid picked it up though, only been allowed out for essential travel, exercise and adhering to social distancing. Something is a miss, or even following the advice doesn't work |
