Only replying so you don’t think “see, people aren’t even replying to this”.
I think they’re all the same my friend, unless you want one of those sites where you have to pay to send and receive messages and then you end up talking to a bot.  |

We've been in a pandemic for the last 12 months with people not particularly wanting to talk to people coz they're dealing with grief, loss of jobs, money worries etc.
If you manage your expectations better you may be less disappointed and frustrated and by doing what you're doing (sending messages during this time) you're just emphasising the "single bloke who just wants to get his leg over any way he can with whoever he can" mindset. (That's how my brain interprets people who've been trying to make new contacts through "cold calling" messages this past year)
Go to organised socials or clubs. The people there are there because they WANT to make new acquaintances and I can pretty much guarantee if you say hello to someone they'll at least say hello back.

I'd suggest that you consider how many messages you have sent, & how many people have chosen not to reply to those messages, & then maybe ask yourself honestly why they haven't replied. |
