Fantastic result! Was lucky enough to see the whole race. Wiggo destroyed the German guy who looked utterly shattered at the finish line when Wiggo didn't even look out of breath lol |

he is second in medals table,but does have one more gold than brad but brad has more medals overall.
brad had silver & bronze medalsfrom his days as a young track cyclist riding in the velodrome in team & individual pursuit races. |

most british people had not heard of bradey wiggins until this years tour de france but he was a junior world champion on the track at 17yrs and an olympic medalist in the team pursuit by age 19yrs,in 2004 he became first british sports person to win 3 medals(1 of each colour in athens) in one olympic games in 40 years since mary bignall-rand.
