Dreaming to live, or living the dream..?

I've got my first vaccine on Thursday, it feels like a personal signification that better things are surely now on the way...

The question is has anyone during this year of hibernation decided to change something in their lives?

Have you set any new goals, dreams of new beginnings or are you already living the dream...

Oh crikey, I think for me, I've had clarity over what's important to me.

And that's me.

I've accepted I can't change the past, I can't make things fair or right.

What I can do is protect myself and if that means daring to dream that I can be happy without "love" in a romantic capacity then it's a dream I'm willing to embrace.

I embraced it once before and got blindsided.

I can't open myself up to that insecurity or headfuck again.

My current dream is to tell my employers to fuck off you thieving cunts.

So new job hunting is on the cards, so have set myself a few goals which may include moving.

Before this current unpleasantness we were living as close to the dream as our circunstancias allowed. Lockdown obviously stopped a lot of that but we hope to resume our former way of life as soon as we can or at least close to it

Thing is do we have a choice PP when love comes our way?

Hearts rarely follow our minds but happiness is everyone's dream, if your happy then you surely are living the dream...

O gosh, such a shame to read that 'no matter how much I can relate to it".

One day just minding your own business something might happen, a smile a wink a look . Hopefully you will be open and ready for what comes next. (You can't change the past but don't let it rule your future either)
