Do you only socialise with someone you would get all sexy with, or are you actually social like you say on your profile 
I tend to assume (I know) that women would be more likely to go for a coffee and natter with others on here.
And my assumption (again, I know) would be that guys wouldn’t want a beer with other men that are hunting the same prey they are.
Am I right? Wrong?
Are there other assumptions you found to be true or false for the time you have been here?

There are a few guys here that I'd happily meet for a beer and a chat and nothing more (despite my bisexuality) - but then I don't view the site as a competition, or "fishing in the same pond".

I have found that men on here aren't friends with other men in the same way women are - not saying they don't have friends but it doesn't happen often in the same way.
All married folk are the devil incarnate - not true.
Single men are grateful horn dogs for any bone of attention - again, not true. |

Similar findings. I read the “fab lies” thread and realised that most of it creates an assumption for the future. I try not to, but is still does.

I don't plan on meeting anybody simply based on gender or sexual preference. I have shown affection to male friends who where simply friends and have shown affection and caring for female friends as equaly. I have went out with anybody just to have some company and a meal without any intent or espectation of anything other then the company of someone I like and respect.
My attraction for somecody goes beyond the itching of my penis. |

I think you might also be assuming that everyone is straight! I only go for socials with people I’m thinking of getting sexy with, but that doesn’t limit me to any one gender. |

I'm more attracted to women than men, so I guess that might turn the assumption around.
But I'm just as happy to meet anyone I get on with for a social, whether I'm into them sexualy or not. |
