It's good to not have one.
If I ever lived with someone again I wouldn't want one.
Too much watching TV and not enough, chatting, or enjoying each other. |

"Just out of curiousity, me and my partner don't have a TV in our bedroom and people in our circle say that's weird... wanted to see who else is weird "
We never had or allowed the kids them, think it’s a terrible thing to have TVs in bedrooms |

"We have one. Always have done sorry you're not allowed to be a weirdo you'll have to stick to being normal sooorrrry"
Whoops looks like it haha, we have a TV bed so can put it away so to speak lol (not that we ever do)
Suppose everyone has their own preference. We like having lazy days in bed sometimes and it's nice to watch TV too |

55inch?..........where did you measure it from? "
It was the one i had in my lounge but changed it for a new one so decided to put the 55' in the bedroom as its a big room |

Haha. After writing what follows, the penny dropped, I checked back and sure enough, it was a play on words. Since folk are still posting about televisions, here’s my two cents (without the abbreviations!):
It’s not weird not having a television at all and if anything it probably makes it easier to fall asleep (warning - geeky science bit: the blue wavelengths of light can stop you falling sleeping as fast as you otherwise would).
I haven’t had one in my bedroom (a television) for a few years now. I like a bedroom to be a nice chilled, dimly lit, room that encourages sleep (apart from when it’s not being used for sleep ). Especially, given how we are being told these days how important it is to get a good night’s sleep.
If I want to watch porn, I have a big-ass iPad with a “night shift” mode. Best of both worlds!! |
