Happy mondays at the G mex in Manchester 1990. Supported by 808 State. Got the bus down and didn't even have digs. We ended up getting a lift back by randoms we met at a party that were travelling back to Edinburgh

Def Leppard at teh SECC in glasgow December 1997. We bearly made it due to heavy snowfall and jack knifed lorries on the road. Tailing the snoow plough in the fast lane did help though.
We arrived just as the support band were doing their last song. |

I wonder if anyone will not only say that they were at the famous Sex Pistols gig at Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall in 1976, but that it was their first gig, ever!! Lol |

Slightly interesting fact is I've seen most top metal bands since, Metallica, Maiden, AC/DC etc and never felt like I was about to be trampled.
A Morrissey gig however when your at the front your taking your life in yer bloody hands |

Absolutely agree to this. Having been in the mosh pit of bands like Sick Of It All, Raging Speedhorn, The Chariot, Every Time I Die, etc etc, I can safely say that there is nothing more scarier than being in the middle of a Morrissey crowd, where a thousand builders and road workers suddenly turn into manic, teenage girls with a crush. Lol. Gene gigs used to be like this, too, on a smaller scale. |

I bet that was amazing experience with laser show etc"
I've been to every UK concert of his ever since - all indoors and not a patch on the outdoor ones. |
