Have to agree. Bond was described by his creator as "cruel", and I haven't seen that in a Bond since Connery in Dr No; until Craig.
There is a goose-bump coldness about him that works.
Moore, Brosnan & Dalton were jokes, like the implausible gadgets and pantomime villains that had more in common with the author's other work, Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang, than his 007 series.

Found this on Wiki concerning the description of Bond in the books. Doesn't sound much like any of those who have portrayed him on film - except Connery maybe... and I wonder what happened to the 3" long scar.....??

I love that rather naughty but sometimes when I am free drop kids off at school have a day at the movies pay for one ticket then sneak in to the others and see what I fancy lol x |
