In light of a few other threads I am looking for help with a big decision regarding my hair style situation.
There’s plenty of hair around the sides and back up to the crown however it is starting to heavily receded at the front and top with even a bald patch on top. Usually I would get it cut short frequently so it’s not as obvious, however with lockdown it’s becoming a bit of a problem and the sides are rapidly outgrowing the top.
I have never had a shaved head before but it’s looking the only option, I’m afraid of what this will do to my confidence if I shave it all off now.
Men, do you find your looked at or treated differently? Women, do you look at men differently?
Any advice or tips? |

If it’s going shave it, job done, a shaved head is better than a receding or thinning head, unless you’ve got a weird shaped head, but you won’t know that until you’ve shaved it. |

Get some clippers with a no 8 guard and use them. You can go shorter afterwards if you want to. It's less drastic than shaving.
If it's of any consequence I prefer a completed or shaved haircut on a man long with a receding hair line. I think it looks good |

I'd say shave it, you won't have to worry about it any more =) and I can't speak for everyone, but a lack of hair isn't something that would put me off a person. |

Shave. I don't like the comb over look or long sideburns. My neighbour styles his 6 wispy strands combed over his obvious bald head and I just want to tell him it ages him more. Losing your hair is not some grotesque deformity, it's a completely normal thing to happen to men. I get you want to present your best possible self, but I think you'll find that a lot of women care more about the person, than the hair |

"Shave it off
You will never know until you try it, there's always the use of hats if you are not a fan "
I believe that is called ‘Hat Fishing’ nowadays |

Best thing I ever done mate. Started with an 8 and got lower (down to a two now). Spent years of trying to keep it half decent.now I go out in the rain, wind,in the pool etc and I love the fact I don’t have to worry anymore.go for it |
