Weather vs Whether vs Wether

So today I misspelt whether as wether and I knew it looked wrong but microsoft word wasn’t picking up that the word wether was incorrect. So I googled it and was shocked to find firstly it IS a word and secondly the meaning is just as shocking.

Does anyone know what the word WETHER means without looking up it’s definition?? If not, care to take a guess before looking it up??

Wirral.

Yes, I know. It's a noun.

I think the older you get, the more varied your vocabulary becomes.

This reminds me of one of my favourite film lines (mainly for the delivery):

"I'll cut your heart out, WITH A SPOON!!”
