"Walkers actually has the pedigree for cheese and onion, introducing the flavour in 1954, a full eight years before Golden Wonder followed suit in 1962. Despite this, the public view runs counter to the Walkers colour scheme, with 44% saying the cheese and onion colour should be green, whilst 30% say it should be blue. A further 10% say it should be yellow, which some of the gourmet crisp companies currently use (and, admittedly, makes thematically more sense when you think about it)." |

"Imagine how bad it is for a foreigner. It's all wrong. All of it "
precisely, the EU had years to sort it out, but they kept banging on about human rights and global trade, no wonder people voted to leave |

"Salt and vinegar crisps in a blue bag!!!!
What else have you come across that irks you with its wrongness? "
I remember when walkers did that originally, was part of a joke/marketing campaign as they did it with lots of flavours by mixing up the colours. most returned to normal but salt & vinegar and cheese & onion stuck as opposites to the original.
now they are the only ones with green for s&v & blue for c&o.
probably is copyrighted/patented now though. |

"Plain. Blue.
Chicken. Green
Salt and vinegar. Purple.
Anything else is simply unAustralian."
Coming from a country that doesn't do prawn cocktail precludes you from this discussion. |

No Vicky ! No !
Cheese and Onion belong in a green bag.
Onion = Veg = Green.
Crisps have been that way all my life UNTIL ......
Stupid Walkers.
Cheese and Onion should NOT be in a blue bag..... Unless we are in Denmark and something tastes off.
No

Looking at the posts in the thread to date, it seems the majority favour C&O in a blue bag.
If I had my way anybody that disagrees can face upto 6 months having there "ideas re-aligned" at her majesty's pleasure in an unheated stone hut on Benbecula.
So job done , C&O in a blue bag |

yes, it did, 90's early 00's. I remember because I HATE cheese & onion , which was normally in the green packet even for walkers, I spat them all over the place.
(walkers S&V are best on a piece/buttered sandwich) |

I remember in the mid to late 70’s my mum collecting me and my sister from school and stopping at the sweet shop for crisps Golden Wonder cheese and onion in green , salt and vinegar in blue , ready salted in red as well as wotsits still in blue and quavers still in yellow. |
