So I’m after some ideas.

In 2 weeks time I will be the big 50. Had a seaside house booked for friends and family. Of course that’s been cancelled.

What to do to celebrate ? Any suggestions. ?

It will be a solo celebration

Did think about an afternoon tea delivery.

Gapping Fanny

We are just going to celebrate her 50th when we can get out and about.

On the day it will likely be a nice relaxed affair.

Not going to allow lockdown to ruin such a milestone birthday.

I’m ordering a cake

Would a 15 person cake be acceptable for one person

Gin marshmallows

If you haven't tried them, you haven't lived!

I fancy coffee and walnut. The lady said covered and in the fridge it would last a week. No worries there.

Message, I was so suprised at the ppl who contributed from old neighbours to school friends I’d not seen in 20 years, it was so touching and better than any gift Iv ever had xx

On a mooch

I let the day pass as a normal day, I’ll celebrate later in the year when I can, until then I stay 49.

Whatever you decide I hope you enjoy your day.

Pieces is supposed to be the most romantic sign of the zodiac, or so I'm told, so dream of that trip down the grand canal of Venice in a gondola, and see if the crowd's come out to wave like they did when George Clooney did it. Happy birthday on the 14th xxx

We should be good at lockdown birthdays. Most of the population have had one this year. I had fish and chips takeaway for mine. Which is a rare treat.

Feel sorry for those who are just about to have a second. Theres a 3 week overlap from lockdown 1 & 3.

Hope you enjoy whatever you do.

Yeah my 49 was just as lockdown 1 was announced. Just managed to get a meal out before lockdown a couple of days later.
