I'm actually surprised at how little my hair has grown in length, it's not been cut since November 2019! There's undoubtedly a lot more grey showing now though.
M's hair is the same as before lockdown because he zips it all off every few days with a razor

I haven't been to the hairdressers since February 2020. Mrs Sexploit is clever and has learned to cut it with proper hair scissors and a male grooming kit. No more listening to the chit-chat in the hairdressers for me!

Not at all, it was long before, its long now (though its grown a bit of course, it's almost hip length now).
I don't colour it and it only gets a slight trim every 12-18 months so it looks basically the same, just longer. |

I had mine cut just before this last lockdown but it grows so quick that it's far longer than i like it. It's so curly too and in great condition because i don't use heat on it. I just hate the length
Plus i need my eye brows waxing and eye lashes tinted because I'm not able to pluck them nor put mascara on |

I think it’s really hard to try and get good results when cutting it yourself, I imagine it’s difficult even if you are a professional as someone said on here. It’s just not the same of trying to cut it while looking in a mirror I guess.
Can’t wait to get the mane tamed. |

Judging by everyone’s response on the thread, we should have a bad hair day picture challenge lol.
We can blank out faces if people want identity’s to be hidden. What are peoples thoughts? |

There and to the left a bit |
Usually have it shaved to a 2 crop back and sides and shortened on top - during the first lockdown I let it grow but my hair is so thick it just goes to a wavy blob - had it cut once at a barbers last July or August and have since just cropped it to a 3 crop all over twice |

I used to have a short back and sides with a short-ish mop on top.
Lockdown made it a thick mess so a few weeks ago it all got shaved off.
Don't think I could have gone much different |

I have socially unacceptable hair. It wouldn't be fair to inflict that on the internet. |

Not one tiny bit. I have hair clippers and for a long time I've just given myself a 7 all over.
That's one of the advantages of being a man. A man can go to the hairdresser and get something by saying nothing more than a number. I realise women technically can too. They just don't generally want to. |

I might if they charged me the same price |

My ex, pinned me down, shaved all my hair off in March last year (feck a year already), as a way of controlling me.
Had some highlights in the top, but I've actually gotten used to short back and sides, and enjoyed going into a barbers, as they are better with clippers.
The growing pains now, as the fat lesbian look is scary! |

Not much difference, my hair is wild anyway.
It is predominantly grey on top and dark brown underneath as I’ve not coloured my hair for a few years now. The length is past the shoulders, and growing.

Top 3rd natural brown with grey
Middle 3rd blonde and brown highlights
Bottom 3rd box colour multi tonal brown that has gone ginge in the sun
If I cut it out It will be over my ears in some places and my hairdresser will have a fit...

"Haircut the same. Colour has changed many times from pink to peach to lavender and apricot (looked like a fruit pastel) to green to green and turquoise and now royal blue. "
Ur colours sound great , I’d do the same but like a twat I coloured mine dark navy n black n now it’s going to take ages to bleach it all out n go for fun colours x |

At the start of 2020 my hair was just past my shoulders, all one length and more or less one (chemically enhanced) colour.
14 months later (since I last entered a hairdresser) it's about 6 inches longer, therefore my 'roots' are also 6 inches long and look stupid, albeit in good condition due to no dye whatsoever. Having come this far I'm going to totally grow out my natural colour, complete with a smattering of greys which (I'm kidding myself) look like highlights (if your eyesight is a bit dodgy).
It would have been even longer but I fell for a cut-it-yourself YouTube video of the so called 'unicorn' method (NOT recommended) and have ended up with uneven front layers much shorter than I'd expected which unfortunately reminds me somewhat of Bon Jovi circa 1985
In short I look a bloody mess! |

Have you used colourb4 before? It's a ball ache as you have to rinse it for 10 mins then add buffer solution and rinse again for 10 mins to close the cuticle but it does work well at getting colour out of hair. I've used it a few times. |

"I usually have an undercut and have a short style so it’s looking a bit questionable at the moment x"
Same here with the undercut, mine is rather wild but my hair is quite long now so it covers it, just finding it really annoying xx |

Mines grown thank fuck. I've regretted having it cut a year and a half ago and it's almost back to a comforting length. Yay for lockdown as I've not had to mix with people while it's been growling!! |

the abyss |
Well since the first lockdown a year ago its gone from bright purple to faded out blue grey to a 'natural' brown to bright red to faded out pinky tones and blonde. So a normal year for my poor long suffering hair |

Mr K just shaves his every couple of weeks.
I usually get a trim and my roots bleached every 4 weeks. Last time was mid Nov so the roots were a couple of inches. Got Mr K to help me do a home bleaching kit and it was OK ish.
A couple of my more cheeky staff made 'Trump' comments. I've sacked them all and had another go at the bleaching so it's OK now.
The staff have learned their lesson, my wages bill is lower and I've got lovely blonde hair again... all good in the hood. |

Ha ha ha looked like a fruit pastel
My hair is salt and pepper but more salt now than pepper despite how ever much gel I put on to try and tame it! |

I look like a witch with different coloured box dye bits on the roots and ends - it's HIDEOUS
The hairdresser is either going to laugh or cry when they see what I've done to it.
I'm tempted to go to a men's barber and get a no 5!
Cheaper and lower maintenance

I’m used to having a monthly trim so it’s liking like I need about 3” taking off.
I’m sooooo tempted to pick up the scissors myself and hack away.... 6 weeks is looking too far away till the hairdressers open again.
I could always wear a hat if it goes wrong... |

After after 2 and a half months with no cut, my short controlled hair was getting very thick and resembling Boris Johnsons on a good day.
I took the drastic decision to shave it down to a grade 4 all over, it's taking quite a bit of getting used to, but it does grow back very quickly. |

I had a pixie cut, cropped close into the back of my neck. Now I have a long bob.
I've either got to see this out to have long hair for the first time since my teens, or the lot is coming off as soon as lockdown ends!
