couple, us we him her.

Answers on a postcard please.

Struggling with high protein breakfast ideas.

That's not eggs or time consuming meat.

Sick of toast and porridge.

Many so called healthy breakfast ideas are carb/sugar heavy.

I have a physical job so need a decent breakfast skipping breakfast isn't an option.

But as a type 2 diabetic I have really found breakfast the most difficult meal of the day to get right.

Just buy a nutribullet and drink it.

Make it the night before so no faffing around in the morning.

400ml of milk, 60g of oats, 30g whey protein, banana, frozen fruit. All blended up.

My breakfast every day, takes 2 minutes, full of protein and other good stuff

I’m not sure if it’s okay for you but I eat Greek yoghurt in the morning with a banana and some dry oats or nuts mixed in and really enjoy it it’s light and healthy

I make my own granola so it’s sugar free. Is there a diabetic suitable alternative to honey?

Add kefir yogurt, and it’s a really nice, healthy breakfast, that keeps you going until lunchtime.

Cum got protein in it. So keep getting told on here. I would go for protein shake if I was watching my calories.

Healthy is all in the mind.

I’ve had vag, followed by eggs and bacon.

I’m feeling spectacularly healthy.

Cream Cheese and Ham bagel.

Protein keeps hunger at bay.

Cream cheese dairy protein.

Ham Piggy protein.

If you can't do the whole bagel for carb or sugar reasons, try some of those little flat breads or wholemeal pittas.

When im reducing carbs I'll make a sandwhich in a large cabbage leaf as long as it's a nice type of cabbage like sweetheart or chinese leaf. I double my breakfast size then to keep up the calories but take down the carb and sugar.

Cheers for suggestions.

I tend to avoid dairy but might have to reconsider the shake's.

Home made granola sounds interesting.

I've tried egg's and salmon.

Fishy burps and eggys farts all day.

Eggs really upset my stomach .

Happy to send the recipe. It’s really easy, and it’s so nice.

Tuna or sardines make a great breakfast.

Boil quinoa or rice the day before and mix in the tuna. Have the sardines on a high protein or low carb bread.

Use a muffin baking tray to make those crustless mini quiches of from egg, milk, veg and / or cheese......

Cold sausages to take with you with some breakfasty type veg or fruit.

Home made pancakes. Take them cold with a yoghurt and berry filling.

I seem to have inherited the worst gene's and a total wuss.

As well as dairy and eggs causing issues, nut's cause my knuckles to swell up and gives me asthma issues.

Have you had allergy tests ?

Have you considered rebalancing your gut ? ( I don't mean leaning on the counter )
