Usually Chinese here, only because it's cheaper as a family.

Our local Indian is delicious, but expensive, so only really used as a treat.

Oh and I'm predictable.

Chinese: duck with pineapple or plum sauce, beef chow mein no mushrooms, chicken and roast pork fried rice.

Usually mixed starter as kids like prawn toast

Indian: usually a biriyani, peshwari naan, then ALL the popadoms and pickles!

Usually stuff like tarka dahl, saag paneer, chana masala, the veggie stuff is so tasty and you can eat it day after with a bit of naan bread. I often skip a main and grab loads of sides of graze on, and have food sorted for the next day too!

here is a (tongue in cheek) serious question

you get talking to a lovely handsome fella online and when discussing takeaway you find out he orders from the European meals section of the chinese menu

its totally acceptable to dump him for probably being a serial killer right?
