Cant keep up with replying individually but a really interesting range of answers so far. I take the point about wanting to be with somebody who is completely different to self - I d go along with that. Equally I like the idea of meeting somebody who is on the same wavelength as me? |

Looking again at some of the comments - interesting one from Petillante about wanting to understand how one is perceived by others. So, what might turn you off in want of a better word, about the person you are yourself or is it more a matter of "opposites attracting"? |

It is a really interesting question as its about self analysis which is i believe a good trait to have..
does'nt come naturally as you have to look at the not so good as well as the 'good' points...

hell yes,
not for sex tho and obviously they wouldn't be exactly the same, but as well as being quite sociable fun and popular on a general level so Id geuss that im ok to hang around with, I also have a very unique way of thinking that I know not everyone completely gets apart from my wife and brother I tend to tone down on the philosophical aspects so it would be nice to meet someone that I might mutually bounce ideas off with |

nah, nothing would ever get done  I'm not very proactive a lot of the time so love being around people who are as it seems to get me moving 
I'm also a bit selfish 
... would be nice to meet someone who got me crap jokes though, I make myself laugh a lot at the most obscure or childish things, so that would be good. |

I cant answere yes or no to this!! 
So I go with shrugs shoulders and if I was in the car id have to put hazard lghts on lol!!
The way im feeling at the mo. if youve read my profile or any of my other posts / threads, you would understand why!!
I think the only way id meet someone compatible to me, is if I was in Broadmoor / Ravenswood, under strict ADULT supervision!!  |

I would like to sit back in the corner of a room and see "me" come in and see how i interacted and behaved. However, in real life the people ive met who are similiar to me ive tended to clash with except for one friend who was like me but we used to get into so much trouble lol |

My best friends (5 females all of whom I have known for decades) all happen to be much calmer, more patient and reflective than me - they happen to be born under Libra sign which apparently is compatible with Aries |

I probably would like to meet me as I think im an okay person with flawes...as is everybody. But I am a dithered though so if there were some traits in me I could tweak then it'd be a defo!! 
But, as Diamondsmiles has said, its be interesting to see how I interract with others as I am a bit of a whirlwind....  |
