I am desperate to hit the weights, feel like I am losing my strength as just relying on core stuff. Is it just me?

No, not just you. It's not helping my mental health either.

Me. And what's worse is it's highly doubtful that it's reopening. It's struggling financially.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do if it closes.

Somewhere near here

I’m desperate to go swimming, I need them open ASAP so I can just float and swim to take some pressure off my body momentarily

From the land of haribos.

I am training at home and enjoying it. I am making good progress, the only thing I dont have is a pull up bar, for that I go to the park and use the football goals bar to rep it out there

Yep exercising at home is like drinking on my own.

Yeah I can do it but I miss the atmosphere and camaraderie of a class, plus the motivation and structure I get from having to get there for a certain time.

Attending the gym is as important for my mental health as my actual physical health.

I don't mind working out on my own.

I'm just so sick of my flat. I'm sick of everything and... fuck it don't want to

I miss lifting heavy. Have a full set up at home but now injured for the foreseeable, only really light stuff while I rehab. Its driving me mad not lifting heavy.

You can lift me. That would definitely help if you’re missing heavy lifting

Even with covid I havent stopped yet.

Built roof frames, fitted staircases and floors.

Built dormers and insulated and boarded them.

Materials need pulling up scaffolding to roof 12x4 beams and then 4x2s

osb and insulation need to go up the scaffolding and up the staircases not forgetting the chipboard floors.

got a massive 30ft x 4 metre dormer to build in next few weeks

as you can guess I dont need the gym

Yes. I like to watch fitness videos on youtube and my favourite one on there is greg doucette, he is very motivating and entertaining to watch, he also gives good tips on nutrition and training too

No, I am not missing the gym. I have gained enough pandemic pounds to be embarrassed and shamed when I just step on the treadmills.

I built a cabin in my garden that I finished off over lockdown. I have a decent selection of Gym kit in it now but I miss the atmosphere that my local place had.

Someone fake yelling at me on my peloton just isn’t the same.
