Depends. Not really a City person anymore as they’re too busy, but I love a bit of History so if there was ruins to sightsee etc I would enjoy that.
If the beach was quiet that would be ok. I don’t like busy beaches. Or dirty beaches. |

I like both. I like wandering around cities looking at the architecture, sampling local cuisine and enjoying what the city has to offer, and I also like being by the sea or pool in a warm country.
When we went to Tunisia we spent 2 days on a tour of the country and had best of both.

With my friends it’s a city break, we love a good old break in the cities with the theatre, food, drinks and history tours.
With my family I like mountains and away from it all. The beach I love, but not for a holiday, only a day visit |

"Also. How busy is the city? I'm not one for a bustling metropolis for longer than a couple of days. "
Have you been to Berlin Evie?
The city is huge, but other than major transport hubs and the tourist 'must sees', it never feels busy + there is a huge city park & green space right in the centre. There are also beaches by the river and lakes for those hot summer months. |

I like sightseeing, in particular cities with a lot of history.
I also love being out in nature, hikes with beautiful views.
That said, I love to swim in the ocean too, I'm just not that into the lounging on the beach part. |
