As a teenager i'd go to nightclubs wearing a grey suit jacket over a lemon t-shirt with the sleeves pushed up to my elbows. I thought Don Johnson was cool but i don't quite think the look worked with me. |

"I can never successfully wear a wrap dress in public without displaying more boob than is necessary or having to tie 24 knots in the belt to keep it from flying open.

A cord dress knee length.. I loved and wore first time somewhere special. Pop*ers all the way in the front...
The po*pers kept unpopping around my boobs or with more vigorous step..and I had to strategically use my scarf as preventative measure from public embarrassment! |

"I'm fascinated to know what happens when you successfully pull, and when the clothes come off your knob is a wellie boot. Is that considered a good look, OP? "

Neon legwarmers, fishnet vest, and a white micro mini skirt than looked like it belonged more on a tennis court. Probably acceptable in the 80s but this was early 2000s.
Some random girl in the street told me she wished she was brave enough to dress like me, I thought it was a compliment at the time, but looking back now |

I had a black jacket, with bright blue lining. I wore the sleeves turned back to show the lining, an drank blue bols, to match the lining
Pretentious? Moi?
Come on... it was the 80s |

"Oh god dont remind me... Curtains haircut, those terrible 'band tshirts' such as nirvana & ac*dc chain hanging out my pocket & vans or dr martins baggy 3 sizes too big skater shorts to it all the pictures are as bloody embarrassing
"
I still have (and wear) my Docs (and have acquired more). I wore DD baggy jeans with a chain with some sort of tightly fitted top. A particular fave was a rainbow coloured crochet vest top thingy (I wonder what happened to that?!). I wore it with no bra... I still wear my band hoodies (and my uni hoodies). Mr KC only ever wore (black) band t-shirts and hoodies when we were younger. He's upgraded a bit now
My main faux pas was my hair. Urgh, dreadful! |
