What do you find a chore about getting all dolled up for a night out or a meet?

I love getting all dressed up but when it comes to putting on fake eyelashes I just can not do it, does not matter how much I try they seem to either fall off or one corner hangs down I really dread getting to the point of putting them on x

So after half an hour of swearing and throwing a tantrum I either get them on or just chuck them to one side. I so hope I am not the only one xx

I've stopped even trying. I'd love to wear them, they look great but I just can't do it.

Our daughter can put them on in the back of a moving taxi

I am getting to that point now where I am starting to give up and I think just use mascara x

There are some excellent mascaras about. We need personal make up artists

I can get ready in 20mins easily. My hair is washed the night before and my clothes are hung up ready for the next day. When that day comes it will be a quick bath, get dressed, a little make up and off i go.

Another vote for hair removal here... such a chore.

Its a hair removal thingy that is a bit like laser but not laser (i am no engineer).

As I understand it, its semi permanent so ladys longer than shaving or creams.

Lipliner. I could never stay within the lines when I was colouring things as a kid and things haven't improved over time.

Plus remembering to make sure my Magic Flying Carpet has been on charge

Eye-liner is my problem area especially as I need glasses for reading and other close up work. When I get it right, it looks good, but that is really a trial and error situation, results are just so unpredictable.

Prep. which can take min. 12hrs to do and involves one having to: diet, enema to ensure super clean arsehole, shave smooth all over and shower. Dolling up is the easy part and takes only 30-60mins.

Hence the reason why I never do short notice meet-up requests and dislike quickies.

For arms & body i find my epilator is my friend, gives me anything up to a month before it gets desperate again. DO NOT use on delicate bits though...

I'm the same - just as long as my hair has been washed and I've done all the hair removal the day before and decided what I'm wearing.

A quick shower and a bit of mascara and I'm off.

I don't do false eyelashes and nailvarnush etc ..

It makes me feel like an imposter and it doesn't look good on me - I look better with natural make up and flat shoes lol

I plan well ahead for any night out dressed, so will fully shave a few days beforehand. But agree it’s such a chore.

Eye makeup is my biggest issue I have used magnetic eyelashes and they’re good, but you’ll still have the same issues if you don’t put them on properly.

I have yet on a night out been truly happy with my makeup and overall look, but I don’t think I’m alone feeling that either. So I do my best

I dont mind all the prep before getting dressed up or for a meet, there is an air of excitement when doing that but it quickly turns to mood swings when the eye lashes need to get put on

I have just done some research on Lola's lashes and they look fab something I am going to purchase x

Thanks everyone least it's not just me that finds certain points of getting dressed up a chore x

I don't find anything a chore I love every second of it including the shaving

Regarding eyelashes I had the same problem and I used to put them on before I did my eyemake up and one day decided I wasn't going to put them on but after doing my eyes I thought sod it and they went on perfectly, I put it down to the liquid eyeliner using it as a guide, I do also use eyelash tweezers, and that is how I have been putting lashes on ever since also make sure the glue is nearly dry then keep away from your eyes for at least 5 minutes
