Should the site owners reward all the site supporters with a free month during lockdown since its only been virtual contact, and they have been getting paid still a bit like the government furlough. |

No not at all.
I pay for the extra functions that help us manage our account and if you choose not to be a site supporter then power to your elbows.
Personally I think that every one should pay a fee to cut out the come and go merchants.
For example just been asked to meet and if they were site supporters then they would know we are 400 miles apart which is on them and not us.

Site supporters have enjoyed the same level of service and usage for the money as they did before lockdown
Meeting anyone at anytime is not a given. Bearing in mind the small fee I’d say definitely not free! |

No I don't think they should. You pay to use the extra features none of that has changed and it's not exactly expensive either. Plus just because you pay does not guarantee meets anyhow even if covid wasn't an issue. |

No - I like the added benefits of paying the fiver for 45 days and seeing distances etc. I’ve used site support a few times and found the response super fast and efficient so happy to pay for that as well. |

Why should the site owners give members a free month? You haven't had your hands tied behind your back to continue to pay for being a site supporter during the pandemic, it has been your choice. |

Can I remind people that using a second profile to talk to yourself and get round a forum ban is against rules whether you pay or not
To the OP, the site is free. The only thing that is missing is a meet button, as we are not meant to be meeting at the moment then I am guessing we don't need that anyway
All the way through this pandemic I have been amazed at the amount of people on here and in real life who think they should get something for free "because we are in a pandemic" The operative word is "we" We are all in it. Why would anyone expect others to pay for something they can't or don't want to pay for? I don't get it

No. People were offered refunds last year, if I recall correctly. Otherwise, supporters make a free choice to pay, knowing the features and service that they will get. Ee are all free not to use fab, nor any of its features as well as to use it without paying. With those choices, there's something for everyone. |

personally i think you get to much for free on here
if it was an instant sign up site it would stop a lot of people “having a nosey “
it would also stop all the fakes and time wasters
and make the site more user friendly for genuine people

The problem is that some of the not so idiotic people don't have a lot more money to pay out.
One of the things that appeals about Fab is that you can get great benefits no matter what your financial status.... there isn't a hierarchy based on what you can afford. |

The site is free. Some/many of us pay for the extra functions that make the site better / more useable.
The site owners are still having to pay for server space, electricity, etc during the pandemic, so they still need an income to meet those expenses, so no, we shouldn't get a refund for pandemic time. |

In all honesty this is by far the cheapest site I've seen and I'd say the best you don't have to pay its a choice one that I am very happy to suport the sites day to day running if you want a month free then just don't renew when you're suport is up for a month  |

Should site supporters pay an extra months subs as the site owners have managed to keep up ALL services despite a loss in revenue as some users stopped suporting during covid times.
I think so. Pay up O.P. Say thanks to the site owners for being there on the front line.  |

O and I also think this site has helped many people through this pandemic due to the fact that some people got a little lift from others when they where feeling there lowest so it's all good |

The free functions are sufficient for some, it does drive you mad though not being able to watch videos etc so the pay for element isn't that expensive and worth it I would say. I just renewed recently. |

I think free accounts get one hell of a lot of nothing. There are still general running costs.
We're happy to support the site -the cost is minimal and as a social platform, it does a very good job.
I do think some functionality shouldn't be available to free accounts (like messaging) and I still don't understand why the forums need to be available to the general public without sign-up!

Yes that’s a good point! However what does get raised a lot in the forums is the suggestion that everyone MUST photo verify. I think that alone would make a huge difference and it would not cost the owners money to implement! Apart from lost revenue of course from people pretending to be something else |

I hate answering the posts that suggest/ imply Admin like to have fakes on the site as long as they pay , when they work so hard behind the scenes to get rid of undesirables and fakes whether they pay or not....it must be really demoralising sometimes 
PV is not compulsory on the site and Admin say they have no intention of making it so....the same as paying isn't compulsory |

I am definitely not implying that at all so apologies if it comes across like that. I would like to understand the reason why compulsory PV is not seen as a good option. It seems like a no brainier and would make the mods job so much easier surely? |

No, you don't have to pay to use the site, unless you choose to, the subscription fee is for the extra features which are still available.

The site is already free on its basic setting. The things you pay extra for are still being provided, so I don't see why it should be free. Can still watch videos, go into the chatrooms, post extra photos, keep track of chats etc... All still working regardless of lockdown so we should keep paying for them surely? |

Compared to other sites, Fab membership is as cheap as chips (in fact cheaper!). My membership lapsed about a week ago (I'll be renewing shortly) and I really miss those added extras - great VFM! Everyone should join! |
