Smoked salmon in a nice sauce with 2 jacket spuds and some fried mushrooms. Sounds great, but I didn't add enough milk to the sauce so that was lumpy and the mushrooms needed salted garlic to bring out the flavour. Next time will be better. |

Thanks. It's not something that is on the menu in non vegetarian Indian restaurants.
My 'Curry Mummy' (cf. Sugar Daddy) makes me a 1KG yoghurt bucket full of concentrated Khadi once a week and I get 4 or 5 servings from it diluted and microwaved. Ideal when I'm working at the laptop and don't want to be manipulating a stir fry. Suitable for lunch or evening meal.
I usually empty a handful of Cofresh brand 'Chakri' rice sticks into the bowl of Khadi to bulk it up a bit. The Chakri is easy to find in the World Food aisles. |

Tomorrow I'm having homemade lamb Rogan josh. Its the first time I've made it, I did some batch cooking last weekend so fingers crossed it tastes ok.

Not much energy for cooking today, probably I am going to have dips (hummus, taramasalata), pita bread, olives and some meat balls. Or I am going to have one of these instant soups and add the meat balls and some sliced peppers. Decisions, decisions ... |
