Why is it always the men that are the villain in movies and shows!

That's sexist we need more women villains!

Probably difficult to depict a woman villain in 120 minutes

May I direct you towards Scarlet Overkill?

Possibly one of the greatest female villains of all time.

Okay so she’s animated but you can’t have everything lol

.

Because women are too busy playing the love interest, the mum, the bitchy colleague at work, fawning over marriages, going psycho over a man and not just being a villain because they are. Basically being a secondary character to whatever the men have going on in the film.

This!

I want an Amazon rescuing the whiny princess from a nympho Domme or something like that.

More women villains! And proper bloodlusty ones!

"Annalise Keating - How to get away with murder

Claire Underwood - House of cards "

She was hardly a villain. More often than naught a laughing stock, betrayed at every step of the way.

And house of cards died before she even got her season.

When I think of a villain I don't think of litres of blood pouring. I think of someone canny and heartless and very self centred. We just see it differently

I just don't think either of them were a strong character enough to be taken seriously.

I do agree they were both cunny and smart but didn't really have a fear factor to them.

Ah. Fear factor. Yes I skipped that, sorry we do need more villains then.

In school plays at Xmas I always played the villan (Pinnochio and Red Riding Hood)... you know real hard hitting villan characters haha

Its so much more fun to let the alter ego out to play. Everyone loves to hate the baddie and I loved the reactions.... where is my Oscar?

Her x

Goldilocks is a villain, depicted as a sweet girl but actually a sociopath who broke into houses, slept in people's beds (totally weird) and even ate children's food right out of their bowls.

"Villanelle in killing eve?"

Yes to this!

And what about a triple agent? Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde.

Interesting that both choose to sleep with women! X
