From what I recall from years ago, avoid scented candles as they burn at a much higher temperature. Start off with plain candles at quite a height and gradually bring it closer to the skin as you feel comfortable. And try to avoid hairy areas on a bloke! |

you really shouldnt use plain or scented normal candles at all the burn ratio is to high
Buy some special bdsm candles the lower the candle to the body the more intense it is the higher it is away from the body the less intense it is , |

A drop sheet is a good plan, make cleaning up afterwards a load easier, go slow and build up, also once you have a layer of wax on you'll be able to bring the candle closer as its insulated etc
The key is reading the person you're playing with and good communication!! |

Put something down to catch the mess, apply a thin layer of oil as it helps make the wax easier to remove after, scrape the wax off with a butter knife like you're shaving with a traditional razor. I have a wax play pic on my profile if you want a nose . |

Oooh the oil is a good idea Also make sure you get proper wax play candles OP else you're likely to get some bad burns
