"Which way do you eat lasagne, is it a layer at a time, or do you cut down through the layers, which kind of seems weird, like a pasta Viennetta ?!
Viennetta is Italian for Lasagne "
I am learning so much today. |

"I like to save at least one bite of the top cheesy layer for the last forkful... "
You're missing a trick here....you save that one last top cheesy layer from the corner where its extra tasty, that's my last bite anyway and even better if you get two of them |

"I cut down through it so I get a nice bite of all the different layers in 1 mouthful.
Doesn't everyone eat lasagna like this? "
People eat Viennetta like that, but I thought lasagne was totally different. |

funnily enough I eat my viennetta layer by layer but my lasagne I cut through all the layers so I've got a bit of them all in one bite...that's if my lasagne stays in one piece when I take it out of my dish...
I'm known for being a bit backwards though |

I eat my Vienetta with a knife and fork, which is the traditional Italian way
I eat my lasagne with my hands, like they do in Naples |

Uni meal
We needed to empty the fridge before we left.
Steak topped with mince beef topped with lasagna and about half a block of cheese grated on it.
We named it the total mess.
And felt sick for about 2 days afterwards x |

"Apparently the correct way to serve it is a layer per person, there’s a special tool to take each layer off. I’ve learnt so much today.
For real? "

I lift the top layer with the cheese off and pop to the side
Then eat it as layers
Finishing by eating the cheesy top
But sometimes I eat it i scrape the mince out eating the pasta then the mince then the top layer cut into squares
I’m strange as I also like calslaw on toast!! |

"I can't believe people eat lasagne layer by layer. Are they the same people who disassemble a burger and eat the components separately?"
When out I eat a burger like that what’s wrong with it?
If out in a restaurant I’m not Gona grab it like a mcDs as I’d make a bloody mess and cause myself embarrassment |

No, that’s the people who put milk in with the tea bag first. |

Eat it all together that's why it is cooked together!
Annoying!"
Never. I shall eat it a layer at a time like the Italians told us to. |

How do you even eat a lasagne layer by layer? How do you cut through one layer without cutting through the next?!
I've never even heard of anyone doing this. Why cook it all together if you're not going to eat it together? This makes no sense to me! |

Hey I don’t make the rules, you can get a lasagne layering implement where you can take one layer off at a time. Seems like a lot of effort to me, but that’s tradition for you. |
