"I'm a big reader, I listen to podcasts. I enjoy... learning.
I tinker with foreign languages. Normally I'm a keen weight lifter.
I write.
I volunteer in my local community."
Just out of interest what volunteering do you do?
I'm semi retired and looking for something.
Sorry to hijack the thread |

Reducing isolation in the elderly.
I won't lie, it's harder than it's ever been at the moment. But it's sorely needed and massively rewarding. |

Playing guitar and singing, love a bit of writing also.
Play the ps4 and quest 2 but not as often as I once did.
Photography is awesome and I have loads of landscape photos and some really weird manipulations.
Would like to start gym again when allowed as it's been years since I used one |

I do quite a bit of gaming, and I build Mandela, mostly Great War and Second World War tanks/aircraft/ships. I’m a bit of an amateur mechanic and tinkerer. I like baking and cooking as well. |

"We're medieval reenactors and keen Steampunks.
(Some of our outfits - from both - can be seen in our photos)
What is steampunk? Im intrigued "
We think of steampunk as recreating a world that never existed. It's a style genre, based largely on Victorian sci-fi (HG Wells, Jules Verne, HP Lovecraft, Lewis Carroll etc)
A more recent version is a film called Mortal Engines - it's a post apocalyptic steampunk film. |

Sourdough bread is just *drool* I’ve made regular bread but the whole making the starter thing is a little daunting. How do you find it? |

Strangely easier than making yeasted bread lol I've neglected my starter a bit though. Will feed it later |

"non sexually related diving
I do miss swimming outside of a pool.
Around here it's desperately unappealing though
Do Salford Quays not appeal?!
"
Flippin' immigrants. Our murky, freezing cold water isn't even good enough for them. What do you expect?! Herds of wildebeest? The hanging gardens of Babylon, perhaps?
(Who gets the ref?!) |

just about a bit of everything really but main/current ones (cos my adhd gets bored...assh**e that it is at times) are:
Guitar - mostly classical, with anything else its the lead parts
Mechanics & vehicle strip down & rebuilds (all 3 atm cos my daily failed mot...not on much though)
writing
Painting
and randomly decided to turn a deep red satin curtain into a dress with hand sewing corset back holes and a long leg slit just cos I felt like it...no more than basic sewing skills no machine...its unfinished partly cos I need to unpick some of it and do it again & i just lost motivation.
both the beauty & hell of adhd there
I was wanting it for my b'day but lockdown continued...i'll finish it later nearer to when I can blooming wear it
