This is the first birthday without my mum and dad who died 12 weeks apart just befor Chistmas....utterly crushed.

So sorry for your loss. My parents also died 3 months apart a few years ago.

They are never truly gone as long as you remember them.

Hope you have a Happy Birthday and don't let their loss spoil your day. They wouldn't want that.

Happy birthday and here’s hoping that you can stay positive and have a good day because I’m sure they both would wish you to be happy and not sad.

My mad crazy wonderful mother passed 47 years ago and I think of her every single day because I love her now just as I did then as a ten year old.

Thank you all so much for your lovely messages..i just feel sooo empty and lost atm. My husband has been a fantastic support..they were amazing people and you are right they wouldn't want me to be sad. Right now i feel like emotionally i am a block of ice. Just observing the world at a distance..
